Technology's role in business has moved far beyond the scope of product development and systems integration. IT is now an important part of any solution with technology and service becoming inseparable. It is the solution we all seek in everything we do.

When Carmen started to evolve as a company we focused totally in developing the most high-tech optimization software in the industry. Today we are one of the global leaders in this area with our pragmatic strategy of applying the latest research into products solving real global problems. But this is not the total solution though.

I see the total solution as the two halves of our brain where technology and intellectual capacity is on one side and service and making the technology easy to use on the other. To become the leading supplier in the industry combining the two halves of the brain is imperative.

Over the past few years I have been passionate about building the service concept around Carmen's products and solutions. To me service is a question of understanding, caring and acting proactively and making my clients' problems my own.

Today I can proudly state that the multi-cultural, dynamic climate at Carmen and the commitment and determination of our employees, will give our customers the ability to use Carmen's solutions to their full potential with a proactive and helping hand from our staff.

I strongly believe that our tradition of working non-authoritatively, on the back of teamwork and freedom for the individual, goes a long way to explaining our service concept.
