Niklas Kohl Ph.D.

Graduated from the Technical University of Denmark in 1995 with a Ph.D. in Optimization. Nine years of experience in applied optimization for airlines, railways, vehicle routing and urban transportation scheduling. Joined Carmen Systems in 1997. Has been working with Maersk Data, the Technical University of Denmark and the development of a new crew assignment system since joining Carmen Consulting in 2000. Dr. Kohl has authored and co-authored a number of papers on transportation optimization published in leading international journals.

Tomas Lidén M.Sc.
Senior Consultant

Graduated from Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, in 1986 with a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. Has been working with transport related issues since 1990, developing simulation, planning and decision support systems and working with signaling systems. Has been working for Green Cargo and studying the Manpower planning problem since joining Carmen Consulting in 2000.

Harald Söderlund M.Sc.

Graduated from Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, in 1999 with an M.Sc. in Engineering Physics. Thesis work on passenger car planning for SJ (Swedish State Railways). Has been working for SJ, Aeroméxico and Maersk Data since joining Carmen Consulting in 1999.

Henrik Ebeling M.Sc.
Consultant

Graduated from Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, 1999 with an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering after studying Computer Science at Uppsala University. Thesis work at the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, University of Florida, supervised by Professor Ravindra K. Ahuja. Has been working for Green Cargo, Maersk Data and a joint venture in Crew Scheduling with SICS since joining Carmen Consulting in 1999.
