Carmen is world leading in planning and optimization applications for the airline and railway industry, and we are rapidly building a reputation moving into the tracking and real time operations field. Integration of planning and operation applications is breaking new ground in the industry, and the data management component is a core component in this development. The demands are very high, performance wise with large volumes of data and data feeds together with high availability requirements.

This is a fascinating field of work in a challenging market with demanding customers. Carmen, with wide ranging experience in the field, uses advanced technology in e.g. operations research, optimization, GUI development, data management, compiler technology and planning processes for airlines and railways.

You will be involved in all stages of software development: analysis, design, implementation, testing, documentation and maintenance. The team you will be working in are as you very experienced software engineers and data management specialists. Contacts with planning experts and other teams using the database component is on regular basis, client contacts from time to time.

Required experience
