Carmen Systems AB, Business Unit Rail & Logistics, is seeking a Sales Executive, Eastern and Northern Europe. Carmen Systems is one of the world’s leading solution providers within the area of transportation resource optimization, using advanced operations research methods to increase competitive strengths of companies within the airline, rail, and logistics areas.
As well as consolidating our position in Northern Europe, our business unit Rail & Logistics is seeking to enter the East European market with offerings for rail and logistics operators, and wish to employ a Sales Executive who will spearhead this effort, reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for this unit.
The main products and services we are taking to these market are based on:
- CRS - Carmen Rail Solution, for optimizing use of rolling stock and crew
- PlanOp - Network flow optimizer, for balancing and optimizing resources at post and courier companies
The successful candidate will be able to present a solid track record, demonstrating the following:
- Ability to develop and manage multi-level relationships with large public and private sector clients
- Selling of complex business solutions where sales cycles are long
- Comprehensive business network within Eastern Europe
- Experience in building relationships with sales and delivery partners, as well as building effective presales and implementation teams within own organisation
- Fluency in one or more East European languages, plus English and Swedish
- Consulting and business development experience is considered a plus
- Ability and willingness to travel from home base in Göteborg
- MBA or M.Sc degree desirable.
