We need a Senior Software Engineer/System Architect

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to our Stockholm office. You will be part of the Application Development and OR-team within Jeppessen's Rail, Logistics, and Terminals unit. You will work in all stages of software development: technical sales support, analysis of client's needs and requirements, design, implementation, testing, documentation and maintenance. You will be working closely with our clients all over the world.

Required qualifications

  • MSc or higher
  • Experience in Java programming and object-oriented programming in general
  • Software development experience of building industrial strength software
  • System Architect skills
  • Good command of the English language
  • You enjoy problem-solving and like the challenges and rewards of working with real-world applications

Meriting qualifications

  • Skills in Java entities like JBoss, Hibernate, JMS, Eclipse
  • Knowledge about optimization or simulation or other OR-topics
  • Experience from rail, logistics or port sectors
