As we are broadening our product suite and increase our research efforts, Jeppesen is strengthening and expanding the Optimization team in Göteborg, Sweden.

We are currently 20 people in Göteborg working solely on our core optimization-engines. These are covering applications for crew-planning and tracking, fleet routing and tail assignment, passenger-management and more. As a member of the team you will take part in research, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. The working environment is very dynamic, with the optimization development often in the frontline of new sales and products. We are also keen on keeping a tight connection with the academic community, participating and contributing in conferences etc.

Profile

• You have a PhD in Optimization or a similar field
• Ideally a few years experience from industry
• Good programming skills in C/C++.
• Experience from using both Dash/Xpress and ILOG/Cplex is a merit.
• You must work well in a team and be very communicative and open.
• Naturally you enjoy problem-solving and like the challenges and rewards of working with real-world applications.
