The Port of Göteborg AB, the largest port in Scandinavia, has signed an agreement with Carmen Systems AB for an optimization application to schedule the terminal staff and equipment. With this solution, the Port of Göteborg will be able to handle increased volumes of freight without having to increase the number of staff. The three-year agreement between the Swedish resource optimization company Carmen Systems AB and the Ro/ro Terminal at the Port of Göteborg, states that Carmen will create a solution application to schedule the 220 terminal staff and equipment at the port in Göteborg, Sweden. The agreement is worth approx. SEK 4 million (€ 425,000). This delivery represents the first step in a three-stage implementation that is expected to comprise:

Port of Göteborg AB Situated on the western coast of Sweden, the Port of Göteborg handles 25% of all Swedish foreign trade.
