We live in an ever-changing world. Not only in the technology we use, the Internet, e-commerce or wireless communication, but also in changes to our society and organizations as a whole.

The US has been running as a unified country for many years even though each state has its own legislature. In Europe we have always had differences between each country in terms of language, rules, regulations, and of course culture. Today most European countries are members of the European Union and Europe is trying to unify in a lot of areas with, as I see it, good results. There will however always be, what I personally love, differences between each country - which is one of the charming things about Europe.

Carmen has developed its software suite in this melting pot of emerging technologies, infrastructural change and cultural differences. In a heterogeneous world where the ability to react rapidly to changes and differences is of the outmost importance. Carmen provides the resources to achive this.
