This course addresses Modelling Engineers closely
with the planners, thereby understanding the planning process and
the potential benefits of improving this process by modifying the
Carmen Graphical User Interface.
The course enables you to customise the Graphical User Interface of the
Carmen System in several different ways. After completing the course you
will be able to:
- Design the Rave parameter window
- Define RUDOBs
- Change colors and texts in the working windows
- Change the information and status windows
- Add new menu entries making them context sensitive - and remove unwanted ones
- Integrate UNIX tools
- Work with the Carmen Form Handler (CFH)
- Add and modify file managers (CFM)
- Customize the layout of etables
You need the knowledge gained by having attended the courses: Rave I and Carmen
Administration. We strongly recommend that you have experience working
with the Carmen Graphical User Interface.
