Most of my spare time is spent with my wife and two kids. I also manage to keep up my everlasting habit of playing table tennis at least once a week, and I still try to find the time for a computer game now and then. When I was younger I used to spend a lot of my spare time learning programming or playing computer games, but now that programming is my job.

After school I wanted to develop programs in a C/C++ Unix environment at a small or medium-sized company. When I met Carmen representatives at a recruitment event at Chalmers (CHARM), I saw that they could offer just that. I was also impressed by Carmen's high competence level - a M.Sc. was the average - so I expected to learn a lot in this environment. Today I am mainly involved in the planning logic that is the base of interactive functionality for most Carmen Products. I am currently working on adding functionality to the next annual release of the Carmen Crew Assignment product.

Why Carmen?
The best thing about Carmen is its open-minded culture. The company trusts that an individual can make their own good decisions, and everyone is happier that way. I also think that the attitude towards parental leave is very good.
